Hey!! Welcome to my space! Who am I? Glad you asked! I’m an actor, singer and writer – but I happened upon my love for the arts. I attended Stetson University where I received a degree in Communications and a minor in Theatre. After college, I couldn’t get a job, thanks to the recession. Tsadok Porter, a friend from high school encouraged me to audition for the Theatre company she worked for. After my first production, I was hooked and things took off! I got a contract to go to Switzerland to perform and after returning to America, I never looked back.

Fast forward to today and I have been blessed to live the last 12 years of my life through art: song, dance, poetry, writing and performing. I’m a troupe member with Wescoast Black Theatre Troupe (WBTT) in Florida and have starred in many original new plays. In 2016, I produced and starred in my own one-woman show: The Power of The Voice. I’ve had the privilege to work at many theatres across the state. As a singer, I’ve traveled the US with the Westcoast Gospel Chorus of Florida and have sung behind R&B legend, Christopher Williams. My favorite pastimes (when not learning a new script) are reading, and spending time with my niece and nephew. Currently I'm writing music and co-writing a YouTube series with my friends.

Philosophy: Whenever something doesn’t work out the way you thought it would, see it as something that went unexpectedly well, but for reasons that are not yet apparent. Everything plays to your favor.

-Mike Dooley

If you’d told me at 18, I’d be on stage doing ANYTHING, I’d laugh... or cry. Yet, every decision that has happened has brought me to where I am and doing exactly what I was created to do.

And here I am: simply, Ariel Blue.
